When a year comes to an end, we gather to celebrate all that has been accomplished. 2023 brought with it a tide of cultural – and Freeosk – events but one stood out among them and was the perfect theme for this year’s recap – Barbenheimer.
Barbie with it’s whimsical fun that demonstrated the power of empathy and Oppenheimer that was on the cutting edge of innovation. The unlikely combination of two blockbusters with very different vibes spoke to many of the things that happened at Freeosk this year so we knew it was a perfect match (just like Barbie and Ken). We highlighted all the hard work that Freeoskers have done throughout the year and celebrated the fun things that happened along the way too.
No Freeosk party is complete without some competition so after our Barbenheimer highlights, we went head-to-head in some Winter Wonderland mini-games! Teams competed in trivia, Pictionary, and wrong-answers only to see who would top the leaderboard! There were a few technology mishaps (shout out to team Where is Todd?) and some over-inflated egos (example: team Snow Way We Can Lose coming in last) but fun and laughs were had by all!
