Meet a Freeosker: Megan Voss

VP, People | 10 Years at Freeosk

After ten years at Freeosk, Megan Voss has seen the company grow through change, challenge, and plenty of learning along the way. As VP, People, she focuses on building an environment where people can grow, stay curious, and do meaningful work together.

We caught up with Megan to reflect on her time at Freeosk and what continues to excite her about what’s ahead.

What are some of your favorite memories from your time at Freeosk?
Freeosk Kids Day will always stand out. It was so fun meeting everyone’s kids and seeing a different side of our team. I also loved our Freeosk Runners days, running along the riverfront after work and doing the Chase Corporate Challenge together. And honestly, some of my favorite memories came during the early days of remote work, when we were all trying to figure out new norms. Our first “social connection question” was simply: What did you eat for breakfast? Post a picture. It sounds small, but it mattered.

If you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice on day one, what would it be?
You don’t need to have everything figured out to make a meaningful impact.

What’s been the most memorable project you’ve worked on?
“Discover Who You Can Be at Freeosk.” Creating a development experience that helped people build skills and imagine new career paths was incredibly meaningful. I’m excited that we’re bringing pieces of it back this year for directors.

In 20 words or less, what does Freeosk mean to you?
More than a job. A group of supportive coworkers who genuinely care about moving Freeosk forward together.

What’s your favorite part of your role today?
Being continuously challenged as we grow and evolve. No two days are the same, and there’s always something new to learn.
